West Sacramento, CA

Walnut Grove is one the last remaining rural Japantowns. Half a mile away, the town of Locke is the last remaining rural Chinatown.

 

While mostly intact, historical signage is

un-engaging and many of the town's stories are untold.

 

Working with an environmental planner and heritage tourism specialist, I helped develop a conceptual plan for a recreational heritage trail.
